Amizade Mencia 2010

Made from Mencía with trace amounts of Caiño and Arauxa (a clone related to Tempranillo) grown by Toni Mendez. Amizade, meaning "friendship" in Galician, is Gerardo Mendez's house wine for his friends in America.

Vinification The wine was fermented with indigenous yeasts in temperature controlled stainless steel. It is then aged on the lees for 6 months.

Tasting Notes Wild forest fruit in a glass with the palate delivering juicy fresh fruit flavors with striking mineral complexity.
